Histology Manager or Anatomic Pathology Manager in Alabama

NEW Histology Manager OR Anatomic Pathology Manager Opening at a laboratory that provides comprehensive anatomic, clinical and molecular pathology services. This laboratory is fully certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Joint Commission as well as the Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA). This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full time Histology Manager on DAY Shift. The HistologyManager is responsible for overseeing the entire histology team and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all histology procedures including embedding, microtome, specials stains and related tasks. For consideration, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in histology (or related field) in addition to a HTL OR HT Certification through ASCP (or equivalent). Previous leadership experience in a histology/anatomicpathology laboratory is required. This facility is offering a highly competitive compensation package!
